Also called Rosinweed and Pilot Plant, this plant has leaves that orient themselves to point North and South. The yellow flowering heads are two to four inches in diameter and typically do not bloom until the second or third year. Compass Plant likes rocky, disturbed and sandy soils. This perennial flower blooms mid-spring through early summer.
