Fowl Bluegrass is a cool-season perennial grass that is often used for fodder, forage, erosion control, and revegetation. It is native to Europe, Asia, and North America, commonly found in wetlands where waterfowl may feed on the grass. It establishes rather quickly in wetland areas. This grass can reach up to 3 1/2 feet tall and thrives best in wet to medium-wet conditions, but is quite adaptable and does well as long as it receives adequate moisture.
