Riverbank Wildrye is a native cool-season bunchgrass. It is used for soil conservation in wet meadows and along stream and pond banks. It has good seedling vigor and some shade tolerance. It is not drought or salt tolerant. Use this plant in mixes for soil stabilization and wildlife habitat on moist soils.
