a.k.a. Gray Goldenrod or Old Field Goldenrod grows best in full sun and sand, clay, or gravelly soils, but may also grow in partially shaded areas. This perennial attracts a wide range of pollinators including different species of bees, flies, moths, and butterflies.
This goldenrod blooms longer than many goldenrods and can grow in very harsh soils, so it would work well in a wildflower mix, native landscapes, or rock gardens.
