Sand Dropseed is a warm season, native bunchgrass that is very drought tolerant. It does extremely well on dry, sandy sites as well as medium-textured soils. This grass will outperform Sand Lovegrass on excessively hot, dry, sandy sites and may also take over other grasses in these areas. It provides excellent erosion control under these conditions.
