Sand Dropseed is a very drought tolerant native warm season bunchgrass. It does extremely well on dry, sandy sites as well as medium textured soils. This grass will out-perform Sand Lovegrass on excessively hot, dry, sandy sites and may also take over other grasses in these areas. It provides excellent erosion control under these conditions.
