About Four Point Evening Primrose

Four Point Evening Primrose is a biennial whose blooms each have four yellow, pointed petals. Flowers will show the second year between late June and September. It grows well in valleys, meadows, sandy areas, and on roadsides; growing best in dry to medium soils.

Like other flowers in the Oenothera family, Four Pointed Evening Primrose blooms in the evening or late afternoon, it's primary pollinator being night-flying moths. It also provides habitat for birds.
